17th European Fusarium Seminar at Bordeaux, France, 21- 24th October 2025.

We are very delighted to invite you to the 17th European Fusarium Seminar, to be held in Bordeaux, France from 21 October 2025, 2 pm, to 24 October 2025, 1 pm.

The EFS17 will be an excellent opportunity to present and discuss the progress made in all fields related to Fusarium research, ranging from plant pathology to medical research and from mycotoxin research to mitigation strategies..

This 2025 Edition of EFS is titled : Fusarium in a world of interactions. Fusarium species are living in interactions with other microorganisms plants and animals and are reacting to global changes. We are planning to hold a major event to showcase the role and effects of these interactions to address the new challenges  of the "One-Health" concept, and to serve as a forum to facilitate interactions inside our scientific community. We look forward to welcoming you to Bordeaux for an enriching and enjoyable scientific experience in our beautifull city.

Professor Bart Thomma, Institute for Plant Sciences, University of cologne, will open the seminar with a lecture "How fungal pathogens manipulate host microbiota to establish infection" . https://www.ceplas.eu/en/research/prof-dr-bart-thomma

Gala dinner on 23 October: During a dinner on a boat, we'll cruise along the Garonne River, passing the UNESCO World Heritage facades of Bordeaux. We'll enjoy a menu of regional French cuisine from the Southwest, prepared on board by a chef using fresh seasonal produce, and share a special moment with live music. You can invite accompanying persons.  A new package is available.
